* Playgroup offers a chance for parents to meet and talk with other parents of small children while the little ones play safely under their parents' supervision. Activities vary from week to week and will provide your child with a fun learning experience.
* TAG is open to all junior high and high school students in Harrison County. Activities include crafts, games, community service, snacks and socialization. Call for information on activities (or visit HCPL's Facebook page).
* Lego Club: Join us on Friday afternoons from 2:00 to 4:40pm to play with Legos. Children learn through play and interaction with parents and other children. Parents will monitor their own children. Open to all ages.
Move and Groove Storytime: I Love You - Mon. Feb 4 @ 6:30pm & Tues. Feb 19 @ 4pm. Move-and-Groove Storytime engages children with books, music, dance, and a craft.
Crafternoon: Drop in between 2 - 4pm for Valentine activities. All Ages
Kids in the Kitchen: Make a heart-shaped cookie with a candy center. Listen to Valentine stories while the cookies bake. Class size will be limited in this session.
Family Time: For Children of all ages accompanied by a responsible adult. Please register if you would like a reminder call.
Dr. Seuss Stories: All ages welcome. Celebrate Seuss with fun stories!
Dr. Seuss Night: Families can drop in to celebrate Dr. Seuss with games and activities.
Teen Origami Contest March 18 - 29: Enter a piece of origami for a chance to win a prize. Ask at the Children's Desk for more details.
Family Special - Downtown Scavenger Hunt: Go on a scavenger hunt through downtown Corydon. This event is for children of all ages accompanied by a responsible adult. Families will be walking and crossing streets.
Summer Reading Program May 22 - July 31: This summer celebrate A Universe of Stories during the Harrison County Public Library Summer reading Program. readers will explore all things outer space. Activities may include astronomy programs, art projects, science and engineering experiments, dance parties, and cooking classes. The 2019 Summer Reading Program is designed for young people, age birth through high school, with programs, prize drawings, story hours, and more. The programs are FREE and open to children of all abilities. Children under 2 participate in the Book Babies early literacy program. Families are invited to join the Read-to-Me portion of the program. Schoolagers are challenged to read 15 books and Teens take the Teen Read Challenge. Registration begins Wednesday, May 22nd, on the first day of the program. The first day to collect prizes is Friday, June 7, 2019 The last day to collect prizes is Wednesday, July 31st, 2019.
